Tuesday 9th August - NYMBO Summer MBO
 
Malt Shovel, Hovingham 2 hour MBO Score Event
 
Dave Robertson has planned an excellent course in the lanes and bridleways of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Howardian Hills.
 
No online or postal entries please. Just send your name, age class and BMBO number by email to nymboevents@btinternet,com or turn up on the evening
 
Saturday 13th August - NEMBOS Event 4
 
Hamsterley Forest - 3 hour MBO Score Event
 
Neil Hymer has finished planning the course and I am looking forward to competing in this cracking area for the first time for a few years. Don't forget to pay the forest toll and share
 
cars where possible but then you can use the full facilities beforer or after your ride including an awesome downhill course and the tricky skills area

White Rose Event Centre, Harwood Dale Forest 3 hour MBO Score Event
 
Dave Lloyd has planned an excellent course to round off the Bank Holiday weekend. Starts are between 1pm and 2pm so a later finish than normal
 
This event is the final race in the White Rose Weekend so check out their website if you fancy some foot orienteering as well www.eborienteers.org.uk

There have been a few changes to the Moors Marathon this year on Sunday 18th September
There is a new 100k route taking in Rosedale Head, Bloworth Crossing and Rudland Rigg and the 75k and 50k routes have been slightly amended. 
Big Bear Bikes are sponsoring the event and the price has gone up but with all proceeds still going the Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team
